Crape Myrtle - Catawba

Showy summer flowers, good looking bark and brilliant fall color make them attractive year round. Winter trunk and branches appear polished.

Trained from a shrub to a small tree, this variety is rounder and  smaller than a lot of other Crape

Myrtles growing to around 6 feet tall.

Leaves are light green, 1-2 inches long, somewhat narrow, turning brilliant orange-red in fall.  Dark Purple flowers are crinkly-petaled, crepe-like and 1-2” in dense clusters.

Likes full sun and moderate watering.
