Water Gum - Tristania

Rather formal-looking with conical, dense crown. Grows to 10 feet tall and 5 feet wide in about 8 years but eventually reaches 20 feet.

Mahogany-colored bark peels off, revealing satiny white new bark underneath. Glossy green, narrow leaves to 4 inches long.

Clusters of small, faintly fragrant yellow flowers make a nice showing in late spring/early summer.

Can be trained as a single or multi trunked tree, makes excellent tall screen, boundary or background planting.  Also works in large containers.

Likes full sun and regular watering.
