Althea Hibiscus - Collie Mullins

Shrubs are upright and compact when young, spreading and open with age. Easily trained to single trunk with tree-like top or as an espalier. sometimes it is trimmed as a hedge. Foliage drops in fall without coloring. Easy to grow. Prefers warm climates. Can tolerate some drought.

'Collie Mullins' has double magenta rose flowers with a crimson eye. Blooms summer to first frost. Mature height is 8-10 feet with a spread of 6-8 feet.
