Growing to a height of 25 to 30 feet in 5-7 years, it can reach 70-85 feet after 40-50 years. This tree is pyramidal in youth but develops a spreading round crown with age. The bark is patchy and very attractive. These ornamental patches range from creamy white to olive green. Water during prolonged dry periods but otherwise needs little irrigation. Requires full sun. Zone 5-9 |
