This is a very unusual palm like succulent with a greatly Expanded base. Strap-like leaves arch and droop. Can grow up to 30 feet tall and the base of the trunk up to 8 feet across. Full sun, drought tolerant. Water deeply but infrequently, taking care not to over water. Can be used as an indoor potted plant with adequate light. Looks great in a rock garden.
