Evergreen tree with aromatic, narrow leaves bearing

clusters of green-yellow flowers in spring. Grows 12-20 feet tall and 10 feet wide.  Bay leaves are often used as flavoring in cooking.

Makes excellent

topiary sculptures. Likes full sun to partial shade and well drained soil.
