This rapidly growing tree can be easily

recognized by its leaves, up to 7 inches across. They are shiny, dark green above, paler underneath and turn red and gold in the fall. In spring, clusters of very small flowers

appear. Mature heights of 60-80 feet with a 40-50 foot spread. Seed balls mature in the fall with prickly points.  Likes full sun to partial shade.
