Large, mound shaped shrubs of 4 to 6 feet high by 6 to 8 feet wide. Long, six to eight inch, dark green leaves have coarsely serrated margins. Spectacular round clusters of blossoms can reach diameters of ten inches. Like partially shaded sites with moist soil, shielded from wind. Colors of blooms can be changed by adding aluminum sulfate granules to the soil. Zones 9-11 |
