Evergreen perennial that forms strong vertical stalks 3 feet high that hold attractive dark green leaves, 6-12 inches long and 1/2 to 3/4 inches wide. Scores of trumpet shaped

flowers appear with hot summer weather.

Individual flowers are short lived, but are quickly replaced by new ones. Full sun to partial shade, but more flowers appear with more direct sunlight. Drought tolerant once

established.
