Two years ago we hired McCabes to landscape our one acre lot. I am a Master Gardner so my expectations were very high and I had definite opinions about what I wanted in my landscape. The McCabes and I collaborated on the design and the implementation of plantings, and some stone work. They were absolutely fantastic! I couldn't be happier with the end results. They were a pleasure to work with during the entire project and it was also a fun project. We would highly recommend this company for any project. We continue to use their maintenance service and have been very happy with the service. As an added bonus you get to ride around in their cart and pick out your plants from their five acre nursery!

I too can not say enough about McCabes Landscape. John McCabe was a pleasure to deal with from the start, was not pushy and listened to your needs and helped you visualize your personal paradise, and considered your budget the whole time. Helene and Melissa were just as pleasant to work with, and we can not say enough about their crew who actually did the landscape, very professional and they truly seem to enjoy what they do, they take pride in their work and it shows.  Our landscape included stamped concrete , with covered patio, side courtyard, and fire pit, the trees and plants they worked with us in choosing are just starting to bloom and coming in very nicely. The process was quick, just a couple of weeks, but the quality of their work you would of though it took them a long time.  One of the things that I was impressed with is that they considered everybody's needs in the process, my mom is handicapped and in a wheel chair, and they considered her needs throughout, making it so that every area was accessible to her. It was like working with extended family and we would definitely recommend them if you want, great customer service and high quality work, you won't be disappointed!

McCabe's Nursery and Landscape Construction is, without a doubt, the most professional and highest quality landscaping business I have ever encountered.  The entire McCabe's Team (i.e., John, Helene, Melissa, Jen, Christina, Keith and all the others) is so nice and helpful.  They listen to their client's dreams, ideas and needs then go out of their way to meet those needs and make the client's dreams come true.

Melissa is superb at turning the client's ideas into a detailed visual landscape design product that can be seen before any work is done.  She is so amenable to suggestions for change and that makes the entire design process very enjoyable and certainly "stress-free".  Melissa and Jen's knowledge of plants is unbelievable and the selection of plants at McCabe's Nursery far-exceed my expectations.  What fun it is to "cruise" the nursery with Melissa or Jen in the electric cart and see the proposed landscape design come to life with specific examples of the plantings to be used.  Both Melissa and Jen have been invaluable in making suggestions and adjustments to our landscape plantings. Their efforts have certainly enhanced the beauty of our home.

Behind the scenes there is Helene and Christina.  Helene is the "glue" that holds McCabe's Nursery and Landscape Construction together.  She is very ably assisted by Christina who provides support in handling the day-to-day business activities such as scheduling appointments, accounting, and many other things.  Helene and Christina definitely make a client's business contact with McCabe's very easy and enjoyable.  They are both excellent at keeping a client informed of the entire process from design to construction, planting and maintenance.  I have had many conversations with Helene and Christina.  I always come away from those conversations with a strong sense that I made the "right decision" in choosing McCabe's.

John and his construction/installation team do excellent work. He is always available during the construction process to supervise the team and provide the client with progress reports.  Our landscape project involved the installation of pavers, planter walls, wrought iron privacy gate, block walls and a "drip irrigation" system for all the plantings (i.e. sod, trees, flowers, bushes and ground cover).  John always follows up with the client when elements of the project are completed to ensure "complete satisfaction" with the result.  John and his team are the "transformers".  They make Melissa's landscape design come to life and the client's dreams come true.  I have received many compliments from the residents of our community regarding the results of their landscaping efforts.

Last, but certainly not least, is the maintenance of the beautiful landscaping McCabe's installed.  This is where Keith and his assistant have done a wonderful job in keeping things attractive and growing properly.  When Keith arrives to do landscape maintenance he always consults with the client to determine what needs to be accomplished during his visit.  He is very knowledgeable about the plantings and how to care for them.  Keith is definitely an "invaluable" resource in providing plant care and landscape maintenance.

I would strongly recommend McCabe's Nursery and Landscape Construction to anyone in need of professional, high quality landscape design, construction and maintenance.  McCabe's is the "best" choice for your landscape needs.

McCabe's Nursery just finished their 3rd job on my property in 18 months (we are doing things in steps to spread the cost out) and they will be my only call when it's time for step four. We don't have five figures to spend on landscaping work and it's nice to know we will get the same care and attention as someone who is spending big money.

The three biggest pluses in my opinion:
1. Melissa knows which plants will work in my soil and climate and doesn't plant things that will die the first time it freezes in January or hits 100 in August.
2. John (the owner) will come out and talk to me during a job just to make sure I'm comfortable with everything going on. Many owners are too busy running the business that they forget what's really important.
3. The guys doing the work truly take pride in doing great work - not just enough to avoid getting fired. I've watched them fix little details while looking out my window that I may not ever have found or realized were there.

You won't be disappointed. :-)
